Bart Hawkins has 20 years experience in providing film and video production and post production services..  A highly skilled and proven confident Director/Producer with excellent communications skills, tenacity and dedication that is well balanced with bold sensitivity and intuition to create powerful productions that command attention.  He holds a degree in motion picture and video production from Brooks Institute of Photography and a degree in zoology and art from Winona State University.

Early in his career, Bart lived with the Hopis in Arizona while he made two films: SIPAULOVI and HOPILAVAYI.   HOPLIAVAYI was screened at the Directors Guild of America and was awarded the Roy Webster Dean Film Grant Award, the CINE Golden Eagle Award, the Townsend Tenacity Award, and a grant from Brooks Institute of Photography.  

Bart has Directed and Produced award winning documentaries, commercials, music videos, TV shows, and independent films.
